In this dynamic and fast changing political climate, it is now that we must put in our concerted effort. We recently heard a fantastic analogy relating to World War Two: ‘D-Day was planned months, if not years, in advance, and the final aim was not only to get Normandy but eventually reach Berlin.’

The 2008 Council elections has got us to Normandy. However it is now that we must put our efforts into leafleting and canvassing so that we may reach that symbolic Berlin, victory of at the general election. The final push (as and when our Prime Minister calls and election!) will be the month leading upto the election when we entrench all our previous hard work with the reward of Government.
